International Yoga Retreat Agreement & Liability Waiver

Dates: April 9 – 14, 2026
Location: Brisas del Mar Resort, West End, Roatán, Honduras
Organizers: Zenergy LLC | Heidi James (Lead Instructor) | John Walsh (Director)
1. Travel, Arrival, and Logistics
The Participant ("Guest") is solely responsible for booking their own travel, including international flights, local transfers, and ensuring appropriate arrival timing. Zenergy LLC recommends arriving with sufficient buffer time to account for potential airline delays, missed connections, or weather disruptions.
2. Mandatory Travel Insurance Recommendation
Roatán is an island destination where unexpected changes (flight disruptions, weather events, illness) can occur. Zenergy LLC strongly recommends that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance including:
- Trip cancellation and interruption.
- Medical coverage abroad and emergency medical evacuation.
- Coverage for lost baggage, delays, and missed connections.
- Water Activity Coverage: Specific coverage for snorkeling, swimming, boating, and "scuba discovery" dives if participating.
The Guest acknowledges they are responsible for all travel-related expenses and medical costs. If the Guest chooses not to purchase insurance, they assume full financial responsibility for any losses or expenses.
3. Ocean and Water Activities Disclaimer
Participation in ocean-based activities in the waters of Roatán carries inherent risks. By signing this agreement, the Guest acknowledges:
- They participate in swimming, snorkeling, boating, and scuba discovery experiences voluntarily.
- They accept full responsibility for their own safety and decisions in the water.
- They agree to follow all safety guidance provided by instructors, local Roatán guides, and retreat leaders.
4. Health and Medical Responsibility
The Guest confirms they are physically and mentally fit to participate in yoga, movement classes, and tropical excursions.
- Consultation: Guests with pre-existing conditions or injuries should consult a physician before travel.
- Maintenance: Guests are responsible for their own medications and any required health documentation for entry into Honduras.
5. Refund and Cancellation Policy
All retreat payments to Zenergy LLC are subject to the following:
- Deposits: Non-refundable.
- Transfers: Payments are non-transferable unless approved in writing by the retreat host.
- No Refunds: No refunds will be issued for missed flights, travel disruptions, weather conditions, illness, injury, personal emergencies, early departure, or late arrival.
6. Force Majeure
In the event of circumstances beyond the control of Zenergy LLC (including but not limited to hurricanes, tropical storms, natural disasters, government travel restrictions, airline shutdowns, or civil unrest), the retreat may be modified, postponed, relocated, or canceled. In such cases:
- Organizers will make reasonable efforts to provide alternatives.
- Refunds are not guaranteed. * Guests remain responsible for their own travel arrangements and losses.
7. Photography and Media Release
The Guest understands that photos and short videos may be taken during the retreat for marketing purposes (social media, website, etc.). By attending, the Guest grants permission for their image to be used.
8. Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk
In consideration of the services provided by Zenergy LLC, Heidi James, and John Walsh, the Guest hereby releases and holds harmless the aforementioned parties from any and all liability, claims, or causes of action arising out of participation in this retreat. This includes, but is not limited to, personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death occurring in Honduras or during transit.

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agreed to these policies, including the travel insurance recommendations and the full assumption of risk.
